Palin and her husband, will support will contribute to a Nebraska campaign.

By DON WALTON

Republican Senate candidate Deb Fischer snared the endorsement of Sarah Palin on Wednesday, and GOP rival Don Stenberg made the case during a final statewide campaign tour that he’s the conservative who can’t be changed by Washington.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Jon Bruning, the acknowledged frontrunner in the Republican primary tussle, turned his attention to presumptive Democratic nominee Bob Kerrey with a new TV ad campaign arguing that “restoring common sense to government starts with defeating Bob Kerrey and Barack Obama.”
Palin and her husband, Todd, told Fischer they support her bid for Nebraska’s Senate seat and will contribute to her campaign.
“We admire your conservative principles and know that you will not go to Washington to amass great wealth or power,” the Palins wrote in a note to Fischer. “You will go to Washington to serve the people of Nebraska, protect our Constitution and work for common sense solutions to help restore America.”
Fischer, a state senator from Valentine, earlier had written the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee requesting her support as “a fellow female Republican” and strong conservative.
Welcoming the endorsement of the Palins, Fischer said: “I greatly admire their willingness to stand on conservative principle and their resolve in standing up to the political establishment.”

So it’s important to Palin that those she endorses don’t seek to amass a fortune while in politics? LOL, but it’s OK to do it by abandoning a post you took an oath to serve for four years if your name is Palin! She showed zero reluctance to leave the position she was elected to in order to fill her bank account with as much money as she could beg, borrow or steal. She’s the epitome of a grifter. Yet she doesn’t want to hear about anyone else making $$$. After all, they might get a few of those dollars that would have otherwise gone into SarahPAC.

What’s this bit about Sarah and Todd are supporting her candidacy? Are they changing the name of the PAC? We all saw how well Todd’s previous choices have gone as in Joe Miller & Newt Gingrich. If I were a candidate and saw Palin coming at me with the intent to endorse, I’d run the other way.

Sarah is an arrogant and disingenuous woman! YOU WILL Someone has to knock her down a few notches! Too bad there’s no one willing to do it!

They endorsed but have not yet contributed. HA Sarah PAC is her own personal slush fund, and she does not share her ill-gotten gains. She is probably counting on getting paid speeches in Nebraska.

I have deep family roots in Nebraska. I trust the good people of Nebraska to spot a grifter when they see one. They are conservative, yes, but not taken for fools.

    From the Sioux City Journal:

“On her campaign website, Fischer writes that she wrote Palin, saying she admired [Palin’s] leadership as Alaska governor and has been inspired by the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate.”

Looks like a pretty cagey move on Fischer’s part.

While she may not get any money right way, Fischer’s fairly mild praise of Paliln has given her access to the mailing list of Palin’s Nebraska nitwits — a good source of fund-raising who are also likely to do whatever else their “Queen” tells them to do on Fischer’s behalf.

What’s interesting is how soon after the primary Palin’s endorsement has come.

That gives it plenty of time to “dissipate” in the public’s memory before the November elections — except in the unlikely event Fischer decides to become Palin’s new best friend — and yet it allows plenty of time for the Palin-bots to brutally attack her opponent, Democractic career politician, Bob Kerry. (A big clue will be if Fischer’s campaign invective toward Kerry sounds “Palin-nasty.”)

Palin’s endorsement, along with Fischer’s prominent place on Maggie’s List, give her campaign a nice jumpstart.

In return, Palin adds to her currently-miniscule “political cred” by backing a potential winner in a prominent race — Fischer is a pro-life, gun-loving, scandal-free, up-by-her-bootstraps former rancher who’s March poll numbers showed her leading Kerry by more than 10 points.

I can only imagine Palin dragged Todd’s name into this in order to bolster his “cred” for a reality show …?

The huge variable is, of course, Palin’s mountain of scandals — a still-dormant volcano of destructive muck which can conceivably erupt at any time.

That is the kiss of death – having ‘idiot Sarah from Wasilla’ and ‘pimp’ Todd (Shailey Tripp – “Boys Will be Boys”) endorse you! Everything Sarah touches turns to sh–!!! I’d get as far away from them as possible, if I were Fischer! Palin was a horrid leader in Alaska and she no longer has a good reputation there! She will go down in Alaska history as their worst quitter governor!
