The Matt Walsh Blog

This post is not about the George Zimmerman case. This post is about a disease epidemic. I call it a disease for the sake of my own sanity. I have to tell myself that some sort of mental affliction has spread throughout our country and claimed millions of helpless victims. I tell myself that because the only other option is that we are simply a nation of fools and liars. So which is it? Diseased, foolish or dishonest? Maybe a combination of the three?

This post is not about the George Zimmerman case. This post is about a tragic and explainable phenomenon. We live in the “Information Age.” Virtually every human being in the western world carries the internet around in their pocket. From there, they can research any topic and explore any idea. They can answer any question and deepen their understanding of any issue. Yet, we are somehow…

It’s natural to lie about people one dislikes. How else to give oneself satisfaction other than pretending to know another’s thoughts and beliefs, and using those ignorant assumptions against them. What’s sad is, people like Syrin, who purport to be Christian, are some of the meanest and most judgmental, not to mention assume the most ignorant things.I think generally Syrin is a good woman, but look at how even she caters to false notions.

Amazing! You first call Syrin a person who is one of the meanest, most judgmental, and most ignorant and then go on to say she is a good woman. You can’t even get your Palin toe-licking defense right.

Thank you for your comment.. I believe I’m a good women and try to make friends and influence if I can. I don’t cater to any notion without first comparing how it fits in the context of what is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure.. Philippians 4:8.. If you are referring to the practice of “shouting a certain lie often enough and loud enough, until it becomes cemented in the public conscience.” You can call it a false notion, but it is not! This is what our political and public dialogue looks like! A bunch of different groups shouting each other down trying to hurt each other with their words and actions.

Sounds like you’re making assumptions about Syrin, hypocrite. What’s really sad is that you are so sanctimonious and have no life. You actually think it is your God-given mission on earth to go to blogs and preach your nonsense to people while life passes you by. Well, have at it, Dope-On-A-Rope; you are somewhat entertaining. I do wonder, though, why you think you fool us with all your pseudonyms. Silly really.

Says paid Palin sycophant. When was the last time your queen was spotted in the vicinity of any church unless at a funeral? Even her layabout son married the preacher’s daughter in the wilderness. Miss Briss says they’re “too busy” to go to church. The Palins sure avoid God, don’t they? And they purport to be Christian!

What does Christianity have to do with Tripp’s trial daddies, Krusty?

And why, with your 24-hour-a-day stalking of the Palins, do you never post pictures of any random Palins even near a church on any of your fake blogs?

I’m glad you’re keeping up your fight against Sarah Palin, but I have to remind myself now and then that you are a conservative. Your repeated link to Matt Walsh’s blog (who I’d never heard of) is one of those reminders. I went to his blog and browed his past posts. I winced at pretty much everything he wrote.

Why this story — Why this case out of ALL the confrontations ending in a death? Why?

Why? Because he was just a kid armed with Skittles and a drink. It’s a tragedy. His parents have shown tremendous restraint and class. Zimmerman told so many verifiable lies that it is hard to believe anything he says, kind of like the Tundra Turd. Those are the reasons I was interested and feel passion about this case.

Yes, he was a kid and its a tragedy! However, I obviously didn’t catch the many verifiable lies. It appeared to me and the jury that his story was consistent with other accounts.. Police report and 911 .. And for the federal government to go after this guy is ridiclous! Zimmerman indeed had to protect himself from a kid, yes! But, a kid who had a gangland mentality and appeared to be involved with organized robberies and was probably racist himself!

What exactly do you mean that he had a “gangland mentality?”

What organized robberies was he “probably” involved in?

Where is any evidence that Trayvon Martin was violent at all, let alone violent enough to kill someone with his bare hands for basically no reason at all?

Here is what we know about George Zimmerman. He was arrested for domestic violence. He was arrested for assaulting a police officer. A co-worker of his says George Zimmerman was over-zealous and over-physical during a gig as a bouncer. He has been accused by a cousin of many years of sexual molestation. His previous social media comments have him talking like what you might consider a “gang banger” (including making disparaging remarks about Mexicans).

All he was armed with was skittles and a drink?!?! I do not expect to change anyone’s mind but I do expect when confronted with the reality the a jury found this man innocent for a reason!
There are a series of compelling articles on the web that describe Martin’s alleged abuse of a powerful, home-made PCP-like drug called “Lean” (also known as “Skittles”). Its reported side-effects can include breaks with reality, extreme paranoia and fits of violence.

        Free Republic is a cesspool.

Talk about lies and mis-information! The key ingredient of “sizzurp” (“lean,” “purple drank”) is prescription-strength cough syrup. The drugs in question are codeine and promethazine. These drugs cause drowsiness and lethargy and euphoria. They are system depressives.

Here is some real information about the effects of “lean”
        http://www.narconon.org/drug-abuse/purple-drank-signs-symptoms.html

“The high from Purple Drank is sometimes referred to as a “swooning euphoria.
The reason this formulation is also nicknamed “Lean” is that it causes some people to want to lean on objects for support. ”

And, mind you, this is if we make an assumption that Martin was planning to mix and drink this concoction (and that’s an assumption based on stereotypes more than any actual evidence).

      Syrin,
If you missed the inconsistencies and the changed stories, go to Malia Littman’s blog and look them up. Then you can go to the source and verify it yourself. He changed his story several times. His story doesn’t make sense. Did you see the Facebook page he took down with the racist and other inappropriate comments? He is a proven liar. As for Trayvon, where is the proof of his gangland mentality and involvement with organized robberies? Also, please think about what I posted below as to the evidence presented in court. I’m kind of stunned at your take on this. I guess you and I haven’t been looking at the same evidence.

What I’m trying to say is I do not see it your way! The jury knew a hell of a lot more than you and I! Which is what lead to George Zimmerman being found innocent! You don’t have to send me to another blog to get the information you want me to have. But, thank you!

Juries usually know less than the public in this kind of televised and widely publicized trial. We all saw or read transcripts of every single part. The jury is chosen because they haven’t read or learned much about a case, then they are given very specific information that falls within the legal boundaries of how a case is tried. Often the jury is taken out of a courtroom when certain things are being decided or decisions are otherwise made outside of the presence.

        Jul 17, 2013 @ 08:35:50

        JK,
You’re absolutely right, however, the jury did hear the evidence about the trajectory of the bullet, Trayvon’s DNA and blood not being found on Zimmerman, Zimmerman’s account of the events, and Trayvon’s final resting position. These are the main points of inconsistency in Zimmerman’s report to the police. For sure, the trajectory and Zimmerman’s account of the events absolutely cannot be reconciled.

I agree with guest @ 12:45:14. Matt Walsh and the commenters under the linked blog topic are plainly right wing white supremacists, or “conservatives” to put it mildly. I don’t agree with his complaints, and said so politely in the comments (although my opinion may never appear, since he moderates comments).

You’re welcome to a like opinion, Syrin. I won’t be back here for that reason (and haven’t been lately since a lot of your blog posts are merely titles and links to others’ blogs).

I posted this at Matt’s blog. These are the reasons I don’t support the verdict.

    Matt,
You’re cherry-picking your evidence and drawing your own conclusions. For one thing, are you sure about the authority of a 911 dispatcher in FL? I suspect that each state has it’s own rules about that. In any case, the dispatcher represents law-inforcement and is the first in the chain of response. I’m pretty sure dispatchers are given protocols for different situations. The protocols would most likely come from law-enforcement, medical, and/or fire agencies. The dispatcher would then be relaying the orders of the agency in charge. Just a thought.

Second, I’m guessing that you think he received a just verdict. I haven’t read your previous posts so forgive me if that is an inaccurate assumption. If you watch the video the police took when Zimmerman walked them through the neighborhood and re-enacted the experience, you will notice that he tells at least one bald-faced lie. That lie would be about how he pinned Trayvon’s arm with his (Z) arm against his (Z) side and used the same hand to remove the gun from the holster. Those two things can’t be done while lying on the ground. Impossible. Don’t believe me? Try it.

Third, how on earth could he shoot Trayvon at a 90 degree angle to his (TM) body through the heart when Zimmerman is lying on the ground? Can’t be done. Impossible. Please don’t try it.

Fourth, why did Zimmerman not have Trayvon’s DNA or blood on him? It washed away in the rain, you say? Then why didn’t the blood on the back of Zimmerman’s head not wash away?

Fifth, if Zimmerman was sitting on Trayvon’s back holding Trayvon’s arms straight out from his body to restrain him, how did Trayvon’s arms end up under him?

This are all things that certainly make me go, “Hmmm.”

Syrin, I have to say that I’m surprised that you would use that article to point out lies when it’s full of mistakes itself. The author said that GZ was never told not to follow Trayvon. Actually, that’s not true at all. When he held the meeting for the Neighborhood Watch association for his community, he was most definitely told NOT TO FOLLOW anyone that he thought to be suspicious. He was supposed to call the police and let them handle the call from there. The author also said that GZ said, “OK, and then tried to return to his truck” We know that’s not true because if GZ’s call ended at 7:13 (times are the best of my recollection, may not be accurate as to specific second.) and TM’s call with Rachel Jeantel ended at 7:15, that means GZ had two minutes to return to his truck. The two minutes is not an estimate, that’s the exact amount of time between when the calls ended. As they were both using the same network, we know the 2 minute difference is accurate. Why didn’t GZ return to his truck? Because he obviously continued to look for Trayvon. It took GZ 23 seconds to get to the T from the time he said, “Shit, he’s running!” until he told the dispatcher where he was and that he didn’t see him. It also means he was running because it took almost a minute to walk it the following day. The author also said that GZ agreed to meet the police at his truck. Yes, he did say that initially, then he changed his mind halfway through the call and said, “Can you have them call me when they get here and I’ll tell them where I am?” Why didn’t he know where he was going to be unless he planned to continue to hunt the “asshole and punk that he didn’t want to get away”?

You ask what people are so upset about, it wasn’t about race or the SYG law, it was the fact that GZ’s story was taken at face value within minutes of the police arriving at the shooting. They thought what he said made sense so they bought it, hook, line & sinker. Twenty minutes after the shooting occurred, GZ’s best friend, a former cop, Mark Osterman arrived there and was told not to worry about it from another cop because it was a clean shoot. This was BEFORE any tests had been done, no forensics had been revealed but the cops made up their mind based on GZ’s lies. Yes, GZ LIED. That’s what people are upset about. I followed this trial from day one and didn’t believe a word that came out of his mouth. I got all of my info from the police reports, not from the media. However, I heard GZ’s attorney trashing the victim on TV despite his statement about how he wasn’t going to try the case in the media. He intentionally smeared the name of an innocent kid who was simply trying to get home. I don’t know where you get your info but there was absolutely NO CREDIBLE INFO regarding TM being involved in a burglary ring or anything like that. Where did you get your info?

Why did GZ follow TM after he had been specifically told not to do so by the NW liaison from the SPD, who was also a police officer? Serino wanted to charge him with 2nd degree murder and/or manslaughter. However, the state attorney for Seminole County who was at the scene of the shooting the night it happened, something he NEVER did prior to that night, said that they couldn’t file charges. On GZ’s extreme variations between his statements alone, they should have been able to file charges. BTW, were you aware the state attorney for Seminole Co., Norm Wolfinger is a friend of GZ’s father and has been for several decades? RZSr. is the godfather of Wolfinger’s oldest son, Norman Robert Wolfinger. How convenient. He should have recused himself from the day of the shooting but he instead appeared at the crime scene.

People across the country of all political persuasions and races were upset that a kid was murdered on his way home from the store by a vigilante with a gun and despite the police trying to initially say his past was squeaky clean, in itself a very suspicious statement, it turns out he had a recorded history of violence.

If you don’t see the reality behind this shooting and the cover-up, maybe it’s because you don’t want to. I happen to be a gun owner and hate the fact that this irresponsible gun owner is ruining the reputation of many of us. The charges against Zimmerman were valid or one of the 3 judges who heard them prior to the trial starting could have thrown them out. Yet the defense didn’t even attempt to petition the court regarding the affidavit for cause! They knew there was a case against their client.

If you’re going to post things about the case, try to find something that is far more accurate than what you’ve put here. Those were just a few of the mistakes I’ve found.

Surprise GZ was found not guilty! I believe this issue should be put to rest! you want to talk about Tawana Brawley? Wow! Another high pitch whine from the left! That was 25 years that she with the help of you Dems and the liberal establishment perpetuated a crime against an innocent man! And now shes payin for her lies! Do you all feel good about that? I say it’s time that you people mind your own lives and stop being the judge and jury! You be respectful! You stop bulling! You stop the politics of destruction! I am sick of it! I’m sick of being called names for my faith, my opinions, my politics because god forbid it does not match up with the radical left or right! Tawanna Brawley has nothing to do with Trayvon Martin or George Zimmerman and your use of her proves you don’t know a damn thing about what you’re talking about. I’ve proven to you that there are multiple lies in the story you linked to and you ignore it. I never said a damn thing about your politics, your religion or anything else.

Stop being judge and jury? I wish GZ hadn’t played judge, jury and executioner the night he decided to follow Trayvon Martin. You’re showing your true colors here, Syrin. You can pretend you’re unbiased but you’re obviously not. I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about with your last comment linking President Obama and liberals to Hitler but you’ve just stepped onto the crazy train with the other RWNJ’s. Perhaps you’ve been there all along.

As for my so-called “godless eyes”, WTF do you think you are to make such assumptions about me or anyone else who believes that Zimmerman was lying? It’s been proven he’s a liar and he did so from day one. You can’t and won’t admit it because then you’d have to admit you were wrong. How very Christian of you! Your presumptions about Trayvon Martin being a criminal despite not having the criminal record GZ had is very telling. Are you aware GZ bragged about how his friends did prison time and never gave up his time in order for him to avoid being put in prison for the same offense? It’s all there in black and white but don’t read anything that might prove you to be wrong. You can’t have any of that now, can you?

How disappointing to see what you truly are. I thought you were a moderate Republican with the ability to look at different concepts from varying points of view. I was obviously very wrong about you. I hope GZ and all his supporters enjoy karma. It’s a bitch and it always, always comes to those who deserve it.

    Something else to think about…

“This year (1935) will go down in history! For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration!
Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!”

    – Adolf Hitler

Barack Hussein Obama (and many other liberals) would love to follow this same demented plan.
