Palin praised Santorum for his “ideological consistency.”

Why would anyone want Sarah Palin and her meaningless FoxNews commentary and back-handed praises?

Has it not become perfectly clear she is indeed ignorant of the issues, arrogant, that she thinks her opinion means something and irrelevant, if media would quit given her free space! And, the obvious part is she wouldn’t know “ideological consistency” if it ran her over!

SIDNEY, Iowa — Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is trying to work up the nerve to ask Sarah Palin for an endorsement.

At a town hall meeting here Sunday afternoon, the former U.S. senator said he’s encouraged by Palin’s comments last week on Fox News, when Palin praised him for his “ideological consistency.”

She stopped short of an endorsement, however.

“I haven’t had the courage to ask her for an endorsement, but I may do that soon,” Santorum said.

Certainly, an endorsement by the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate might breathe some life into Santorum’s campaign. National polls currently have him in last place, with less than a month to go before the Jan. 3 Iowa caucuses. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is, at least for now, in the lead.

Even so, Santorum said he’s not giving up his effort to win over Iowans. He spent about an hour and a half with 11 people who showed up for Sunday a town hall meeting at the Sidney Senior Center.

Rick has a child who is dying and is not dealing with reality. He has the education and the means to support himself to take a low profile job and be home with his family, yet sails on his (sparsely populated) ship of fools toward his vision of the White House. Are the people who go to see him really his supporters, or are they press people trying to figure out why he is still running?

My heart cries for him; he seems to be sticking his head in the sand and hiding from what is going on in his personal life. I hope he gets help or takes a break soon.

That’s so sad to hear about Mr. Santorum’s child.
I don’t know why anyone would want kudos or be associated to an individual such as Sarah whackadoodle Palin. Regardless of anyone’s personal plight, how is this illegitamate and ignorant grifter a positive to anyone? I don’t get it, still!

“Regardless of anyone’s personal plight, how is this illegitimate and ignorant grifter a positive to anyone?” She’s not– but with Rick, you have a guy who is dog paddling in rough seas, trying to stay in the public eye. She appealed on emotion to the masses, he seems to be hoping that that emotion might save his campaign– if not, he is going to have to deal with his heart break.

Running for POTUS makes a person potentially powerful, he’s not a helpless dad who can’t save his child. Who else could possibly offer him a line of hope for relevancy besides the former governor?

I think that Rick Santorum is headed for an emotional breakdown. I hope we don’t see it– it is way too personal, and not any of our business, but he’s feeling desperate. The former mayor from Wasilla got closer to the presidency than he did. Look at the psychological side of this man– he’s not “right” emotionally, so you cannot apply logic to anything he is doing right now. This isn’t a dig at him– it’s just an observation of where he is at.

“I haven’t had the courage to ask her for an endorsement, but I may do that soon,”…He hasn’t got the courage to front Palin but thinks he has what it takes to lead the country? WOW has he got some revelations coming up to bite him.

    “…ideological consistency”

Wow, two big words for Palin. She was practicing for a month to say those two words together (although she still doesn’t know their meaning) and then, just to make sure, she wrote them on the bottom of her foot so they were handy when she opened her screechy mouth.

What a complete fool and coward! Yeah, Rick, too.

Santorum “doesn’t have the courage” to talk to Sarah Palin?

Oh boy. Very presidential. Dude, you’re gonna have to talk to people like Kim Jong il and Gaddafi.
Why are these guys so stupid?
