Not News: Sarah Palin Says She Won’t Run For President

So will she get an hour of air time to preen the way Chris Christie did?

Her letter is over at TPM Livewire. I wonder who ghost wrote it for her:

As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision.

That’s funny, her family never came first before.

I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency.

As expected, Palin’s inflated sense of self is creating a blockade of blissful oblivion in her delusional brainlet as she offers to give her unique brand of bad advice, from one abysmal former batty candidate to the current crop of conservative loons. The more the scarier, I always say.

UPDATE added with a belly laugh and a h/t to @LavaQue1:

She wants to be able to “say” what she wants.
    Really. Really?

So, the ‘desire’ for POTUS had not at all to do with the actual
governing of a large country, just a place she had ‘hoped’ she
would have gavel to gavel coverage of what she has to “say”.

We could be (could have been) living a ‘TMZ’ nightmare 24/7/365.

As we all know, Steve Jobs just passed away. And, my deepest sympathy to his family for their great loss.. God bless his legacy.. Apple is a great product and a multi-million dollar corporation that I’m glad exsists..
However, I thought this was a great tweet!
@daveweigel And so Palin gets to be the big news for… 58 minutes or so.

There’s something oddly appropriate in an obituary being the lead story.

Someone give me an AMEN up in here!

I can’t help but smile despite the sad passing of Steve Jobs. His death is a huge loss for so many, but I love the idea that the headlines Sarah hoped to be receiving are completely overwhelmed by his passing. In fact, her announcement was so inconsequential that around 6:20, MSNBC announced Palin wouldn’t be running. Before 7:00, they broke the news of Steve Jobs death and for the next 3 hours, Palin’s name was mentioned once and only by Rachel Maddow in a 2 minute segment at the most. She was NOT the lead story she expected to be! It couldn’t happen to a more deserving person.

And this news seems to be overshadowed in many quarters by the news of Steve Jobs’ death.

Sarah Palin gave me nothing but agita. Steve Jobs provided 25 years of delight, every time I opened the stylish packaging of a new Mac desktop or laptop. RIP Steve.

    Two obituaries in one day.

Shirley Palin is not running for the nomination for POTUS, because Herbie (or Herb) Cain is just too tough a candidate to go up against.

Rumor has it that she is coming apart at the seams, foiled for a third time, by yet another African American.

They say Shirley has thrown away her flute and fancy pageant waling shoes , she has immediately enrolled in accordion lessons, yodelling classes and has joined in daughter Piper’s home schooling arrangement, to broaden her horizons.

AMEN, Syrin, and thank you for your work. Nothing like a genuine Christian, Republican, Alaskan, woman conservative to call BS on SP, henceforth to be known as Her Overness. Baruch HaShem! (Hebrew/Jewish meaning “Thank God!)

Syrin, thanks for all the work you have done over the years to expose the fraud we know as Sarah. While the announcement today has been a great relief, I will not be happy until her lies are exposed and the rest of the public knows the truth of the bumpit devil in Naughty Monkeys and designer glasses.
