Palin needs to put her medical records where her mouth is. But, she still hasn’t.

I’m Now Joseph Farah?

By Andrew Sullivan

Salon’s Justin Elliott says he has definitively resolved all conceivable doubts about Sarah Palin’s biological maternity of Trig. I have to say my first instinct is to thank and congratulate him for doing what should have been done a long, long time ago. Before I go into the details, let me first, however, address the following canard:

Sullivan’s refrain on this issue is that he does not endorse any conspiracy theory, he is merely asking questions. He simply wants Palin “to debunk this for once and for all, with simple, readily available medical records.” He has proposed, for example, the release of “amniocentesis results with Sarah Palin’s name on them.”

It’s worth noting that this posture is identical to the rhetoric used by Obama birthers (for instance, WorldNetDaily Birther czar Joseph Farah employs the “just asking for definitive piece of proof x” line here).

This is absurd. Obama has produced the most relevant, clear, unimpeachable, if humiliating, piece of empirical evidence that he is indeed a native-born US citizen. In fact, he produced it a long time ago. (I think he was right to do so, and the press was easily within bounds to ask. That’s how these things should work.)

And there is a huge difference between someone asking for exactly that kind of proof, however distasteful, and someone continuing to ask for it after that proof has already been produced.

To equate my simple request for proof – a request first made in September 2008 – with a request for evidence even after it has been produced is not “worth noting.” It’s a smear.

And I have not shifted this position since the very beginning. In my view, a journalist doesn’t have to engage in any consipracy theories in order to ask a public figure to verify a story that they tell as a core plank of their political candidacy – especially when verifying it should be easy. When the figure has publicly said she has already released the birth certificate – and she hasn’t – and when she demands further digging into the Obama birth certificate after it has been produced, and when she once demanded that her opponent for the mayoralty of Wasilla provide his actual marriage license to prove his wife was his wife (and he did), I see no reason whatever to apologize or regret asking her to put her medical records where her mouth is. She still hasn’t.

Did Elliott ask Palin to do so himself? If you want an end to this, that is what you would do. It appears he hasn’t. He has asked fellow journalists what they saw and believed. I’m not sure why a reporter decides to ask fellow reporters for eye-witness accounts when he could simply ask Palin for proof. Well, I do see why – which I’ll tackle in a forthcoming post.

Do not, I repeat, do not eff with Andrew Sullivan.

It´s like tickling the tail of a sleeping dragon.

…“to debunk this for once and for all, with simple, readily available medical records.”

Why can’t she do it? Why has she been able to seemingly defraud the nation on so many levels? Why is she able to merely speak her lies and when asked to prove her point she’s instantly being attacked than defended by others (media)! Please if there’s anyone who can answer these and about 1000 more questions concerning Palin, please feel free…

Who are the people behind the curtain? Little Sarah Palin didn’t do this on her own. That is the question.

The only reason she’s able to get away with this is because she repeatedly insinuates that anyone questioning her pregnancy is “making fun of Trig” although that has NEVER been the case. She always brings him out for her lies, just like the lie she repeatedly told about how “people said I should have aborted him”. I’ve looked for that for hours and have yet to find one single instance in where anyone in the media said any such thing. Of course, we know Palin lies about EVERYTHING without hesitation, but when she uses her children she deserves all the scorn and derision that is coming her way.

I much look forward to your post Syrin. Thanks for staying on the Case.

One question I have relating to this ‘Was she or wasn’t she’ quest is: Am I the only one to notice that in almost every photo of SarahPalin during her 5-week pregnancy, that she wore that oversized black coat/jacket most of the time?

I’m not a doctor, and I don’t play one on TV, however I’ve given birth three times…Why in the above picture isn’t Sarahs belly further out and the Child seem to be pulled awful close as if there were no belly at all.

I’ve been talking about this for two years, my friends and co-workers were tired of me (they said), but now that this story has picked up speed, those same friends are asking me questions. HA!

Ofcourse I also refer them to the very same blogs I’ve been reading.

And let’s not forget, either the Tundra Turd pulled off a terrible hoax for political gain, or she tried her very, very best to kill the fetus with the “wild ride.” Either scenario makes her a terrible, horrible, evil person.

    Article. II.
    Section. 1.
“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

    Criteria for holding presidential office:

    1. United States citizen“natural born” OR “a Citizen of the United States.”
It also says “at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution”, meaning that at that moment in time, these guys were talking in the present tense. At that time.
The statement requires cognitive analysis. Obviously, Eisenhower, Roosevelt, Nixon and Bill Clinton didn’t meet the empirical meaning of that statement – they were not in fact citizens at the time the constitution was adopted.

    2. Minimum age of 35 years old.

    3. Resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years.

Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it say anything about where one was born.

Then, in 1790, they clarified. In the years since then, there have been all kinds of amendments and clarification for any number of situations, including stuff that deals with Panama. A lot of language didn’t change; just stuff added and things refined. Ultimately, it all come back to the original Act.

March 26, 1790 An Act to Establish an Uniform Rule of Naturalization (1 Stat. 103,104)
“…the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond the sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens; Provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States.”

Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual Volume 7 – Consular Affairs Page 9

    7 FAM 1131.6-2 Eligibility for Presidency (TL:CON-68; 04-01-1998)
    a. It has never been determined definitively by a court whether a person
who acquired U.S. citizenship by birth abroad to U.S. citizens is a natural born citizen within the meaning of Article II of the Constitution and,
    therefore, eligible for the Presidency.
    b. Section 1, Article II, of the Constitution states, in relevant part that ―No
Person except a natural born Citizen…shall be eligible for the Office of
    c. The Constitution does not define “natural born”. The ―Act to establish an
Uniform Rule of Naturalization‖, enacted March 26, 1790, (1 Stat.
103,104) provided that, ―…the children of citizens of the United States,
that may be born … out of the limits of the United States, shall be
considered as natural born citizens: Provided that the right of citizenship
shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in U.S.
    the United States.‖

In the end, President Obama has no obligation to prove anything. The man holds a U.S. passport. He’s a U.S. citizen. He was born in Hawaii. He demonstrated whatever he needed to at the time that he filed candidacy. If there were really any question, it wouldn’t have gotten past.
Anything he offers now is purely to satisfy, and perhaps appease, particular constituents.

This really isn’t about Sarah proving something because Obama has. It simply isn’t. These issues aren’t even close to comparable. It just needs to stop. All of it.

I don’t know where that baby came from and I don’t care. Its parents are Sarah and Todd Palin, poor thing.
What I know is that woman DID something. She either faked a pregnancy or she hid one from the Alaska voters. Either is distressing. Either is indicative of duplicity and fraud. Either is decision-making and showmanship that is simply not acceptable. Not in my world and not in the presidency.
Deep down inside, I think she was pregnant. I think she did everything she could to damage the fetus and create a miscarriage. I think she hid it because she really thought she would miscarry and avoid everything and no one would know. Her actions reflect someone who really created an alternative where this baby didn’t exist. Her own story follows exactly what us ladies do, when we find ourselves faced with an unanticipated unwanted pregnancy. She snuck around to get a home-pregnancy test; didn’t tell Todd; used a different name to get amniocentesis; dressed to camouflage, etc.
I think she abruptly announced the pregnancy because she was found out, either by her own kids or by staff, and was getting in front of it in a panic when reality sunk in that there would indeed be a real baby that people would know about, because she was beyond “miscarry” and on into delivering an infant, dead or alive.
I think she behaved like a desperate panicked teenager hiding a pregnancy from the cheerleading squad, with a half-baked “plan” that didn’t work out and everything moving along really really fast and spun completely out of her hands and not knowing what to do.

And THAT’S why she needed to hide the pregnancy. Because she wasn’t really planning to have it. There wasn’t going to BE a baby.

What the details are of what she did, I kind of don’t care. It’s just details. Regardless, the TRUTH is that she’s an immature, spiteful, unintelligent, undereducated, ignorant, deceitful presumptuous woman with very little training in anything, completely lacking in humility and compassion, and accustomed to being indulged.
Fact is, she doesn’t fit ANYONE’S politics and agenda – conservative, liberal, Christian, or Tea Party.

It seems obvious something has got SPs&bots dander up.
There are only a couple sources who could ‘pave’ this latest road-to-perdition fiasco considering all the players.
The ‘brothers’ and paid bots are very busy lately.

But alas, pictures of pillows dont cut it.
…sorry fellas; your pageant walkin gal cooked her own goose.

(the brothers have now got me convinced SP didnt tell anyone she was going to announce BP preggers.)

Btw….why doesnt any ‘family’ picture show Trig in it.
Like the 08 christmas pic. For one.
Of course no one is certain what year that xmas pic was actually taken
but one would expect him to show up in some ‘family’ pic.
Most pic of the lil guy someone is hauling him handing him off
shoving him in a vehicle or dragging him off one.

While looking, I ran across some relig-y blog showing xmas pic as tho it were 2008 and making excuses for Trig not there as the pic was taken ‘earlier’. But that doesnt make any sense.
Not a shock….her fans are so confused they’d buy poo and call it a chocolate chip.

SP w/ help has fired up another shit-fest.
    …it is what they do.

    I say bring it.

Syrin ,Your logic is on target ! It’s Sarah Palin that’s not logical ! I believe Sarah is so brainwashed with the Queen Esther crown her followers bestowed , her reality is clouded . Standing in front of what appears to be hundreds and more then once being told she was chosen by God, in her sick mind it’s fact. It’s what gives her the illusion she’s invincible , the way she looks down on people and dismisses them with contempt, the arrogance when she speaks . A description someone wrote early on was “Smarmy”

Since Toad announced to Levi that “I don’t know HOW she gets pregnant” (he slept on the couch) then I conclude that it was another “Immaculate Conception” Nobody asked Mary for Jesus’ birth certificate, and Palin feels like a chosen one, so THAT solves THAT. Anyone who ever insinuated that I did not give birth to any of my 3 kids had better stand back, I would be extremely upset. I think maybe Murdoch has bitten off more than he can chew with this howler monkey. Nothing but problems from the outset.

@Scarsdale: Nothing but problems from the outset.”

When Kristol et al took that lil AK cruise and were snake charmed by this mentally deranged woman, they had no inkling what they were getting into.
Between shoving her horribly dressed stuffed BP on stage to
*winking* at the convention, that was only the beginning.

Males with power are easily charmed; they expect it.
They are *masters of the Universe*.
And mostly quite foolish as a result.

I love it! The reason you’re upset is because you’re just as rancid as Palin and her bots when it comes to facing the truth. When faced with the truth, you stick your fingers in your ears, cover your eyes, and holler,” La la la la, it’s not true!”

And, where do you get off coming to Syrin’s blog and insulting her because you don’t like finding that Palin’s entire political persona is a lie? She’s made a fool of you and millions of others so don’t feel so alone!

If Palin has the gull to continue with the birther controversy regarding Obama which as been debunked over and over then she should have no problem showing Trig is her actual son so that then too can be debunked.
