Palin has NO values or common-sense! But she is a formidable GOP candidate?

Sarah Palin is counting on almost anyone can get elected. Palin is the bottom of the barrel! I think that the country is in need of someone who will fight like a man NOT a girl!  Palin is the absolute opposite of authentic! Dysfunction is the primary state of the Heath/Palin families. But media continues to say Palin is all about family-oriented conservatism?! For GOD’S Sake! Tell me it’s NOT true that anyone can get elected!   ~Syrin

 By Brett M. Decker

Sarah Palin gave a rip-roaring speech in Wisconsin on Saturday that excoriated President Obama’s deficit spending  and took swipes at Republicans inside the Beltway for going along to get along. Superstar real-estate developer Donald Trump has been stealing all the headlines from potential GOP presidential primary competitors recently by going hard to the right and taking on controversial topics. Mrs. Palin’s weekend tour de force to a Tea Party Tax Day rally delivered a simple message: Don’t forget about me; I’m still out here, I’m really conservative, and I have a strong following.

The half-term quitter Alaska governor’s pep talk reminds why she would be a formidable candidate. Not only did she hammer away at the substance of today’s economic and moral crises, she was exciting. “We’re flat broke but he thinks more solar shields and really fast trains will magically save us,” she said of Mr. Obama. “So now he’s shouting ‘all aboard’ his bullet train to bankruptcy.” Turning on establishment elephants, she thundered, “We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic; we didn’t elect you just to stand back and watch Obama redistribute those deck chairs.” The anger she showed for recent budget deals strikes a raw nerve among important Tea Party voters.

Sounding like a candidate, Mrs. Palin told the Madison, Wis., crowd, “The 2012 elections begin here.” She should be underestimated by the rest of the primary field at their own peril because lots of Americans support her message and the passion with which it’s delivered. Working to appeal to a new, strong conservative brand of feminism that is becoming an important political force – what Mrs. Palin calls Mama Grizzlies – she said, “What we need is for you to stand up, GOP, and fight … GOP leaders need to learn how to fight like a girl.

It’s too early to know how the Alaskan would fare on the campaign trail, but it’s time to put to rest the simplistic wave of the hand that many use to condescendingly dismiss Mrs. Palin – that is, that she’s unelectable.

It is NOT too early to know how the HALF BAKED Alaskan would fare on the campaign trail.. You people have known and have seen that she is a farce, liar, imposter, cheat! Sarah Palin is a freaking fraud! Taking every important issue that I’ve ever had a passion for and completely made a mockery, a joke of! I may not agree with my progressive friends on issues and how to bring some resolution that benefits us all, but I sure won’t stand here excepting that this lying, conniving women has anything to offer in any area of debate, issues or life! Sarah Palin and all who support her are repugnant to me and that will never change!

God will she ever shut up? Boy you took the words right out of my mouth! In my head, if you agree and support her you are more stupid and ignorant than she is. I don’t understand the people that feel she is a great candidate! Especially the Alaskans that live here and know what a joke she is! Every word out her mouth is a lie, she is delusional. Oh well, I really do believe that karma is a bitch and one of these days this phony “christian” will see just that.

Sarah lied about the baby; she lied about the budget deal (she was off my billions of dollars) and this is who you see as ‘a formidable candidate?’ Seriously. If someone who hasn’t said a more positive thing than “This is a beautiful state” in the past three years is the best you’ve got, the GOP is in worse shape than I thought. Taking down unions, taking away the rights of women, taking food and health care from the poor and children, defunding the educational system that made us great, and making fun of the infrastructure projects that will create jobs and get this country, at last, on a par with Europe, is not any kind of leadership at all. It is bowing down to the corporations, the Kochs, and anyone else who dangles a check in front of you, or promises you an election. Enough. GOP, start creating jobs, raising taxes, and acting like adults, or get out of the way. Palin is an idiot, and the rest of the GOP is right up there too. Breitbart is nothing more than an agitator…take your own advice Andrew. YOU are the divisive ones…the GOP is the one busing in thugs, not the progressives. Grow up, all of you. Act like the adults your birth certificates say you should be.

I was laughing before I finished reading the title of this post. What a sorry lot they are. Every week it’s “Stop the clown car! We’ve got another candidate!” I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life.

It occurs to me that Palin would make the PERFECT GOP candidate given her lack of values and common sense.

Well, if it’s true that WE should all try to get along, have common ground to move forward as my progressive friends say. I’ve come a long way on my political trip from the far right. I appreciated the opportunity and freedom not only to listen to what the left was saying but to give it credence and value. But, that doesn’t matter, partian goes both ways! Why is it neccssary to defend my right to think differently or to believe differently? I just do, I can give you point on point, but you generally don’t want to hear it. I’m a life long active Christian Conservative Republican! We got good points… You got good points!I’m ashamed that this is where the GOP wants to go. But, not all GOP members lack values or common sense nor does every Democrat or whomever possess values or common sense. It’s those who want to dictate to the masses, perpetuate for the sake of personal gain and power that’s using charisma of an imposter and saying that is competence and being formidable. Clearly these do lack values!

I agree that not all Republicans are bad and not all Democrats are good. This year, though, is just awful for Republicans.. The people running for office seem to be nothing more than political whores. I’m generally glad that we have a two party system and believe the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. But Gingrich, Huckabee, Palin, Pawlenty, Trump, (who else?) are just bizarre. None of them are going to do anybody any good.

BTW, I’m a lifelong active Christian progressive who often travels across the aisle.

    ROFLMAO!!!

They had to bus in a few hundred mouth breathers from out of state …or she would have had NO audience…lol

As it was, the labor protestors outnumbered them ~~~~10 to 1~~~AND SURROUNDED them ….all without incident.

Palin’s popularity has plummeted just like the “teaparty”, she has become irrelevant.

She won’t be getting $120,000 for her screeches , I mean speeches any longer, when she can’t even get a crowd of 200 on the teaparty anniversary day.

America appears to be fed up with Palin AND the teabaggers…….ROFLMAO!!!

      Thank you Martha

I appreciate the good report! Is there a link to a local media talking about the busing of people in as her audience?

Here is a commenter from the post at Mudflats:

        April 17, 2011 at 5:09 PM

I was lucky enough to be there. Attagirl unfortunately had to work since somebody has to pay the bills. It was made very clear that Sarah and her gang were not welcome.

Weather was rather uncooperative. Cold (low 30s) and rain and snow with a fairly stiff wind. That in no way deterred the enthusiasm of the regular protesters. My estimate puts the TP numbers at 600 to 800 possibly, with the REAL Americans numbering around 7000 to 8000. The Capitol Police estimate was on the 12:30 crowd and the crowd didn’t peak til about 1:30.
The TP people had a stage. sound system and jumbo-tron at one corner of the grounds where there is an area that has a large walkway up to a terrace that circles the building. The walk had large temporary barriers at each edge (About 8 to 10 ft high). Don’t know if it was to block the view of the protestors or what. The REAL Americans had a stage and sound system at the opposite corner of the grounds couldn’t afford a jumbo-tron.
The REAL Americans have this down to a science by now and tend to march around the square counterclockwise on the sidewalk. Then the firefighters show up with their big flag and bagpipers and an impromptu parade moved to the streets around the square. The energy is just very exciting.
When the TP program started more Real Americans began to cluster around the the TP area and the crowd became one. The TP speakers were mostly pretty well drowned out by the background noise but when Breitbart and Sarah took the stage it really got loud.

If they did not realize they were unwelcome here they would have to be deaf, dumb, and blind. (We already knew about the dumb part and I’m not referring to being mute.) The signs carried by the REAL Americans are marvelously clever and entertaining. The one pictured above is a prime example. There was a 6 ft x 2 ft banner “Sarah Go Home”, and hundreds of “Palin show Walker how to quit”. By the entry to the TP area was a fairly large sign “Corporate Propaganda Program” with an arrow.
I can guarantee you that Americans for Prosperity (aka – The Koch Brothers) did not get their money’s worth here. They pretty much got laughed right out of Madison. Yea for the REAL Americans.
I do not want to usurp Patrick’s regular spot here but I just come away from Madison with a need to share the experience. Wish you all could be there too.

Mudflats speculated that Palin had actually planned to announce her candidacy, but didn’t do it because of what happened.

Sowah is an embarassment to any issue a conservative might want to solve…… She spews the same thing over and over again. Never a solution or a attempt at one. It is all fight, fight, fight.

She is ugly inside. She maybe known about the world, but it is because she is stupid and ugly inside. Just ask those in Milan. I did and they asked if all people in Wasilla were so ugly inside. I said NO. I also said it is hard to believe someone so into fighting and never working on a solution. My comment made a local weekly paper.

Even though I’m a Democrat there are Republicans I do admire and respect-Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower. Even some of Nixons policies weren’t that bad (he founded the EPA)…his problem was that he was a paranoid crook. And there are Democrats I have no use for-LBJ, Rod Blagoevich, John Edwards (he had good ideas but lousy husband).
