Glenn Beck Doesn’t See Sarah Palin Running For President

Glenn Beck: Sarah Palin is not running, damaged her brand

By Andy Barr

Glenn Beck doesn’t see Sarah Palin running for president and said she has done some damage to her political brand.

Beck, a constant Palin cheerleader, said flatly on his radio show Monday, “Sarah Palin, I don’t think, wants to run for president.”

The outgoing Fox News personality has hosted Palin on his show several times – once for a full hour – and she has frequently lavished praise on him.

Still, even with all that good will, Beck was frank in assessing what Palin has done to hurt her own political stock – even though he credited her with surviving tough media coverage.

“There are some things about Sarah Palin,” he said, going on to suggest Palin made a mistake by selling her personal story in her first book after leaving the governor’s office, rather than demonstrating some policy credentials.

“She should have come out with that first book, and it should have been deep policy,” he said. “It should have shown that, yes, she knows where Russia is.”

“She didn’t help herself by doing some things to shore herself up,” Beck added.

Still, Beck predicted that Palin “wants to shape the debate,” though he sees her role as outside elective politics.

“I personally think she is on a smart path for the future to be able to hold people together,” Beck said. “It’s ideals that I think she is going for.”

OMG!!! He thinks she is on a smart path for the future to be able to hold people together? When has Palin ever held people together? It has been the contrary! I’m so sick of the false perception about Palin as some kind of Conservative, Christian Hero/Savior! It’s a lie, it’s false and the sad part it’s been very evident for all to see these past 2 years… There has been nothing smart about Sarah, in her future I’d like to see her be a responsible parent and hold her family together!

Deep Policy?? When has Palin ever spoken deep policy? I’ll help you out here, Glenn. NEVER! She doesn’t know policy issues well enough to speak on them. Sure she could have paid someone to write a book on the same and then slapped her name on the cover. After all, she did that with the first two books and she does it today with her “op-eds”, Facebook posts, etc. None of it is written by her and she’s proven it many times because even when questioned on her very own softball network, she has screwed up and contradicted what she allegedly just wrote. This has happened several times.

Hold people together? She can’t manage her own family as Syrin and many others have said repeatedly. She doesn’t have a clue as to how others are affected by current policy decisions or how they would be affected by the GOP’s plans as in Medicare vouchers. She also doesn’t give a damn cause she’s got hers!

She will never run simply because she is not an intellect of any stature, she is absolutely incurious about the rest of the world and she will be vetted this time. Sarah knows all of this is true. And a person as angry and greedy as Sarah Palin will self destruct.

She was overwhelmed in ´08 and has remained so ever since. Merely thinking about running in 2012 has made sarah fall to pieces.

With the exception of maybe a couple of million avid — & I might add “rabid” — fans

Glenn Beck has become so toxic that the number of his TV viewing audience members is only half of what it was a year or so ago; his radio ratings are so bad now that radio stations in big cities including New York, Madison, Philadelphia and others, have dropped his programme all together; advertisers also have left in droves (over 300) and for the first time in 8 years his newest book, “Broke,” did not make #1q allow their ads to
    have been rapidly declining

collapsed He has considered so toxic that even his advertisers (over 300) left in droves, no credibility whatsoever.

Sorry I hit the wrong key … I obviously was not finished editing muchless writing my post. Let me try this again:

While I wouldn’t put much stock or credence in anything that Glenn Beck has to say — given that he has become so toxic that the number of his TV viewing audience members is only half of what it was a year or so ago; his radio ratings are so bad now that stations in cities, including New York, Madison, Philadelphia and others, have dropped his programme all together; advertisers have left in droves (over 300) and for the first time in 8 years his newest book, “Broke,” did not make the #1 spot on the NY Times best-seller list; and even Fox Nooze has decided it was time to part ways (I think toward the end of the year?) — he “might” be correct about Sarah Palin, but I doubt it.

Sarah is too ego-centric, too self-centred and too full of herself. She craves attention. She is addicted to it. But as of late, one cannot help but notice her tweets and facebook ramblings no longer command the media attention as it once did. Probably because with characters like Michelle Bachmann, Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich and others, who have announced their presidential aspirations — albeit lofty and elusive, are much more interesting — in a “weird” sort of way — and much more novel to write and talk about.

Sarah Palin, like her ally Glenn Beck, is a has-been, actually never was and never will be. But I still wouldn’t rule her out, at least, not quite yet. However, even if Beck is right about her not running, he is dead wrong to think that Sarah has anything remotely substantial to add to the national debate, but then again neither does he. Despite most everyone else, including the media and the voters, recognized that and have moved-on I suspect it’ll be a longtime coming before they, too, do likewise notwithstanding.

Glenn Back was like the “Chicken Littles” always saying that the “Sky is Falling”, like the same ones that were the “Chicken Hawks” (“W” Wars), big talk no courage. The United States, favors creativity wherever it can be found. We’re apostles of prosperity and defenders of the free exchange of ideas and when more people in more countries are free to rise, to invent, to communicate, to dissent, it’s not the doom of United States leadership, its the triumph of the American way. Generations have worked hard and sacrificed much for the country to reach this point (individuals and our unions!), and with further hard work and sacrifice (along with our relentless self-doubt) the United States will rise again, we do not tire and we are coming back, no matter what the “Chicken Littles” keep saying about our nation. Never Bet Against the United States!

“Ideals”?? How can she promote them when she has none herself? What has she EVER been successful at, by the way certainly not motherhood. Not being mayor, she had to hire a city manager to run things. As governor with Toad running the state, which is less populated than a lot of cities in the lower 48, she quit. Her family is a train wreck, illegitimate babies, vandalisms, drugs, booze, prostitutes, multiple live-in boyfriends. If I lived in Wasilla and could not move for some reason, I would want a DNA test taken for any child that was born into my family. They seem to be intermingling.

Has anyone watched the clip from British TV, where she uses the word “squeemish” They almost fall off their seats laughing. One man said “It is almost as though she has no idea herself what word will come out of her mouth next” Weren’t we humiliated enough having W as our “leader”? He was a worldwide joke. We do not need the Wasilly Grifter representing the US now.
