Palin Is Not Going to Israel

The Hill reports:

HERZLIYA, Israel — Sarah Palin (R) has canceled tentative plans to visit Israel early this year.

Media reports in December indicated that Palin had opened discussions about a foreign trip in 2011, with Israel and Great Britain at the top of the list of potential destinations. Details of the overseas venture, including the dates and locations, however, were never finalized.

Palin considered attending the Herzliya Conference, a highly regarded national security and policy gathering outside Tel Aviv. This year’s conference began Sunday, and a spokesman for the event said that Palin was invited to attend but did not accept the offer.

“She was invited; the president was invited. All of the top people in the U.S. were invited,” the spokesman said. “But it’s not as if her attendance was imminent or expected.”

All the TOP people? My GOD, so Sarah Palin is considered one of the US top people on national security and policy gathering?

The 2008 FAILED GOP vice presidential nominee’s visit to Israel would have helped burnish her foreign policy credentials ahead of a possible run for president in 2012.

HUH? This trip, when the world knows she does not have appropriate experience would burnish her foreign policy credentials?

So I guess Palin couldn’t sleaze her way into a meeting with Margaret Thatcher either?

Tue iron lady wouldn’t even know who she is. I think she has dementia she probably doesn’t recognize her own grown child. I think that would have been in poor taste for her to go. But then again since poor taste ever bothered a Palin.

I wonder if she is counting on an invite to the Royal Wedding. She could wear a baseball cap and white Tshirt to show off her boobs again.

I also, too, can’t believe that they put her in the *TOP* people of the US. (Shaking head in total disbelieve and utter dismay)

Oh dear. Read the conference program. Of course she could not accept the invitation. Seriously out-classed in academics and world affairs. I’d be terrified if I were her! And certainly they would not pay her usual fee.

Cheap stuck-up think tank…Naw, kids, let’s head out for pony rides at that movie actor’s ranch tourist attraction. And we can get paid for it, too!

But here it is – Mississippi governor Haley Barbour will be giving “remarks” tomorrow. Not actually involved in panel discussions or billed as expertise, just giving some thoughts. I guess?
So there you go. That’s the connection.

What is coming that Griffin keeps alluding to? Does her cancelation have anything to do with that?

Yeah. What have you heard up there in Wasilla, Syrin?

Or is it just strategic for goosing the Palins back into the spotlight every time our attention flags.

Frankly, I don’t believe that there’s any big scandal breaking. I do believe that the state emails will show a dodgy Sarah Palin administration and outright ethics violations. And we already know that.
I believe that that’s why they still aren’t released and never will be under Sean Parnell’s watch. He’s there to see to that.
Otherwise it would have been done and over with a long time ago.

    That’s too bad.

Margaret Thatcher’s daughter wrote a book about her mother’s Alzheimer’s disease, and described her in the most devastating terms that this illness can inflict, including the fact that she relives the news of her husbands death on a regular basis.

That didn’t stop the The Tin Cup Grifter from attempting to take advantage of her.

I say that’s too bad because, as incredibly devastated as Thatcher is, $arah would not be able to keep up a conversation with her, let alone grasp any foreign policy, economic, or legislative concept that Mrs. Thatcher still remembers.

Actually, I think Palin would get along swimmingly with a person with Alzheimer disease. The word salad she spews sounds exactly like a person with dementia.

However, that said, it was incredibly intrusive and beyond self-serving to try to inflict herself on the Thatcher family. My bet is that they wouldn’t allow her within miles.

Should Palin have a chat with Maggie, I’d bet that Maggie in the throes of dementia would make more sense than Sarah.

    Thanks everyone for your comments…

When the husband and I where in London this last Oct we had a chance to chat with the locals. Of course the first question is.. Where are you from? The cringe we get when we say Alaska! And then they ask ” Do you know Sarah Palin” or “what do you think of Sarah Palin” The complete horror we feel to express yes, we live in Wasilla and know her. Have to express without getting too deep… Answer: She’s a liar, cheat and FRAUD! Oh, btw, I’m a Christian Conservative Republican…. People get it! They laugh at her, but really it’s a pathetic feeling this woman is being taken serious in some very important sectors.. Like security and policy…..They’ll ask if they want to know more. Alaska has so much more to offer! It sickens me thats all that comes to mind about Alaska these days..

Palin made that “blood libel” statement. Maybe she’d have been made to feel a bit uncomfortable–which she should.

      You are 100 % correct!

So much $hit comes out of $arah’s mouth it is almost impossible to keep up.

Thank goodness for the blogs like this one and others who keep records and backups.

Yes the “blood libel” was just horrible ESPECIALLY considering Gabby Gifford is a Jewess.

Gifford was one of the first to go on national TV to complain about $arah’s cross-hairs and her district and she herself being targeted.

Gifford’s office doors in Tucson were SHOT out after the cross-hairs map.

Her father said that the only enemies she had were the teaparty.

So there Gifford lay, fighting for her very life, unable to answer Palin’s outrageous claims as $arah once again pronounces HERSELF the victim, using SUCH a diabolical, evil reference.

The devastating affect of “Blood libel” was employed by Hitler, as a large part of his propaganda in the annihilation the Jews during WW2.

The entire history of this reference has ONLY been used to jeopardize Jews.

The following link is quite an eye-opener, even the Catholic Church used this accusation to put Jews on trial and execute them.

      http://www.zionism-israel.com/dic/blood_libel.htm

I would only add that $arah constantly says she “stands with” Glenn Beck”, who has raised the ire of over ~~400~~Rabbis, of all persuasions, that have written a public letter to Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes insisting they put an end to his anti semitic rants.

Palin may be afraid of getting arrested in a foreign country for making “terroristic threats”.

Kind of funny that she never appeared to ever want to go anywhere outside the United States in her first forty some years. Now she wants to go, but possibly can’t due to “complications”.

She can’t take Trig out of the country as someone might notice his birthdate and place of birth in his passport do not match with her story.
