Sarah Palin Lacks Much More Than “Gravitas”

By Nick Wing

Call him old fashioned, but GOP strategist and poster child for the Republican establishment Karl Rove seems to thinks that Sarah Palin might lack the necessary “gravitas” to be the party’s presidential candidate for 2012.

The former vice presidential candidate’s new reality TV show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” isn’t helping, Rove told The Daily Telegraph in an interview.

“With all due candour, appearing on your own reality show on the Discovery Channel, I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of ‘that helps me see you in the Oval Office,'” Rove said.

“Being the vice-presidential nominee on the ticket is different from saying ‘I want to be the person at the top of the ticket,'” Rove continued. “There are high standards that the American people have for it [the presidency] and they require a certain level of gravitas, and they want to look at the candidate and say ‘that candidate is doing things that gives me confidence that they are up to the most demanding job in the world.'”

And he also took heat from none other than Palin when he questioned surprise GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell’s chances of winning in Delaware.

“Bless his heart,” Palin said of Rove. “We love our friends, they’re in the machine, the expert politicos. But my message to those who say that the GOP nominee is not electable, or that they’re not even going to try, well I say, ‘buck up!'”

This is the second time in a week that Rove has appeared reluctant to provide any degree of enthusiastic support for Palin.

Karl Rove (@KarlRove) is now following your tweets (@AkSyrin) on Twitter. I think I know why!? ….”There is a determined, focused establishment effort to find a candidate we can coalesce around who can beat Sarah Palin,” someone described as a “prominent and longtime Washington Republican”

Are they finally ready to kick her to the curb? Sarah has been given false credibility by the ‘lamestream media’ based solely on her clickability. Unless someone is willing to break open the McCain and opertives highly illegal attempt of taking over Alaska’s Dept of Law or any other illegal maneuver that was made for Sarah Palin or by Sarah Palin …
However, after giving Sarah a false narrative and paying her legal bills for her unethical behavior, theGOP’s credibility is as Sarah’s…. nonexistent!
