Joe Miller Comes to Visit

Joe Miller came to see me.. Joe wanted me to know that he’s his own man.. Just looking at his website it’s clear that is NOT the case. Apparently he thought that I have influence.

I appreciated that Joe and Adele Morgan came to visit me at the fair. Adele has not darkened my booth in several years. She is a local religious singer who now claims her independence from Sarah Palin while she’s Joe Miller’s biggest fan. However, she’s been seen just about everywhere with Sarah.

The reality is I don’t trust Joe’s judgement….I may not have made it clear but I will, with no other choice for a Conservative Republican be voting for Scott McAdams in the general along with Ethan Berkowitz. It’s really all about personal integrity to me, especially these days. If you don’t have that, the issues don’t really matter. All important issues can be debated among reasonable people. Yes, both these men who happened to be Democrats have integrity, fairly conservative ideas and no ethical issues or ties to one, Sarah Palin, who again has obvious moral and ethical issues. There is a thread that runs through this new crop of politician where honesty and integrity are pushed aside. Where it’s so easy to say that you believe in GOD but lie they lie to your face. Where a potential leader is judge on their chrisma rather than their character. That thread is of course Sarah Palin and a new culture of corruption… I don’t care what party or what you say you can do. Your actions and motivation speak louder than your words..

Miller and Palin joined forces before, waging an unsuccessful coup attempt two years ago against Alaska Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich.

Let me be the first to commend you for posting your own commentary concerning something that happened… to you! As a proud and politically astute Alaskan, you have a lot to say and we readers welcome your personal views in your posts. If only all of us would consider a candidate's own integrity, honesty and common sense as necessary prerequisites for office regardless of that candidate's party's overall platform, we can rest assured that the good of the nation will be first and foremost on that candidate's mind… not his or her own aggrandizement.

I talked to Joe concerning many things. Not knowing if he was aware of my alter ego Syrin. So I asked. He closed his eyes and shook his head "Oh, yes", he said.
I said, "Good, so we don't have to go through all that."
His record and recent actions have spoken clearly to me that he's in this for reasons other than the good of Alaska or America. He could not even take responsibility for his staffer referring to our seating Senator Lisa Murkowski as a prostitute (the oldest profession). Instead he insisted that it was about the Libertarian Party. If a man can not take responsibility for his own staffer, he does not deserve to be given responsibility to state and federal issues and policies…

Christians……This is the scripture of the year.. As Joe Miller was leaving my Christian booth, I shared it with him..
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of leaders and teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will deny the truth for fables, a lie.2 Tim 4:3

A comment left from a friend on FacebookSomeone posed an interesting question on his wall. He wrote: "There are a lot of people that want to describe Joe Miller as "crazy" "insane" and other more colorful and less appropriate ways, but nobody seems to want to be specific about why he is. So if you would please explain to me – specifically – what it is that you do or do not like about Joe Miller I would appreciate it."Here is an explanation I gave a friend in the lower 48…it's lengthy: Well I have spent time with him..but I'll just give you the highlights. Fir…st he's racist, not like he made an unfortunate comment once, but… whenever he feels he has a receptive audience he spouts off ignorant comments. He wants to overturn the 14th Amendment!?! He even wrote a position paper on that. He wants to abolish the Dept of Education. He quit our party a couple of years ago. During the 2008 State Convention he unsuccessfully tried to overthrow our party chairman. First he comes in to a hotel ballroom with Chips Cop glasses and walkie talkies..for his "security detail" it was truly comical. Then we he tried to get people to vote to impeach our chairman and vote for him and nobody did, he literally had what I can best describe as a "hissy fit". Then he stomped off and unregistered as a republican. Also, I don't know how familiar you are with Alaska, but we have a very unique situation from other states. We have only been a state for 50 years. So while the federal government was building roads for hundreds of years for other states, we have literally about 5 major roads and 2 are gravel. You can only drive to less than 6% of Alaska. So if you live in rural Alaska milk and other perishables come in via plane and milk costs between $10-$15/gallon. Also in what we call the "Lower 48" you have tons of interstate highways that the federal government builds and maintains for you. Additionally, in over half of rural Alaska, they don't have sewage facilities, so the people literal poo in buckets called honey buckets. That is why we often have cholera and other 19th century ailments. Finally 95% of Alaska is owned by the state and federal government. Every other state has been allowed to develop their own resources and we are not because people feel good just knowing that our wilderness is here while they profit from their land. Anyways for all of these reasons we are what is called a recipient state. Which means we receive more money in federal tax dollars than we pay in. Although by acre we receive the least amount or by amount of coast line. But per capita…we only have less people in our whole state than the city of Portland….we receive the most. So Joe's idea is that we should stop receiving federal dollars. He says he will reject them if people try to give them to our state. But I guess if you are racist, why should you care about toddlers toilet training in buckets, when their skin is brown or old people with brittle bones because they can't afford milk or even people who literally freeze to death because the cost of fuel is $16/gallon. Anyways my point is yes, I don't believe in runaway government spending, but until you let us create an economy by developing our own land, then we do want to help our people come into the 21st century. So to sum up on a good day he is condescending and rude and on his bad days he is a hate monger. He doesn't have any great ideas. His "ideas" are that other people are doing a bad job and we should fight against them, that we should cut, cut regardless of consequences (how much more will it cost in the long run when we have unhealthy people, an unskilled workforce and no jobs). Well that ended up being longer than I thought, but I feel very passionate about my state and I know it will devastate us (not to mention embarrass) us to have him representing us. Oh and I forgot, he wants to get rid of Medicare!! Not modify or change it, but he wants zero old people to receive any help, even if they are dying and have no other funds."

Note: This explanation was given by a FB friend. The fact of the history and present reality of Alaska needs to be considered. His "ideas" are not reasonable or coherent. I'm conseverative, I want to see cuts in spending. But the unbalanced way that Joe will do Alaska's business is frightening to me … He thinks that we should cut, cut regardless of consequences. We can't fight out of control spending with out of control cuts. We need balance and deliberate thinking, we're in this deep. Sure, Joe will never get his wishes granted if he becomes the senator. But, that he thinks that he can do it with his limited experience. He reminds me of someone..He thinks that he's that good… Maybe10 years in Alaska
