The Palin Political Connection…Do Alaskans care?

It's true that Palin is not looked at in a positive view here in Alaska. But, does that matter? It isn't the fact that Sarah Palin actually was found guilty of 'abuse of power' while playing governor for 22 months. It certainly didn't seem to matter that this 'lame duck' as she called herself can quit on the heels of an up coming charge and than directly go against the ethics act by personally gaining wealth and power. She did this by insisting on playing a governor when she clearly holds no title or evidently accountability.

Supporters of Joe Miller–the U.S. Senate candidate supported by Sarah Palin in Alaska–carried assault rifles and wore open side arms during a festive community parade this week, while young children marched alongside them.

Miller is running in the GOP primary against incumbent Republican US Senator Lisa Murkowski, a far more popular figure in Alaska these days than Palin, who quit her position as governor a year ago amidst a series of ethics scandals.

Footage of the event, located on Youtube and at the website of noted Alaska blogger Andrew Halcro, shows a handful of potbellied Miller supporters behind a black Humvee openly brandishing weapons at the Bear Paw Festival, a popular community celebration held annually in Eagle River and Chugiak (located north of Anchorage along the Old Glenn Highway on the way to the Palins' home town of Wasilla). The five-day festival includes a "Teddy Bear Picnic," barbecues, music and a historical fair.

Miller, who received the Alaska Tea Party endorsement and whose politics are well to the right of Atilla the Hun, served as an assistant attorney for the Fairbanks North Star Borough from 2002-2009. He left amidst controversy last year and failed to include this position anywhere in his official campaign bio or web site.

Palin's political action committee SarahPAC recently dished out a $5,000 contribution to Miller's campaign.

What if a large group of black people acted just like the teabaggers, and marched around carrying guns, and calling republicans Hitler, and that they want to destroy this country, etc. and all the other garbage we hear from $arah Paylin daily. Why that would be an outrage, not a defense of 1st and 2nd amendments, or a difference of opinion. She makes me so mad, she proves she is not racist by saying people don't care if Obama is half black and half white. Why is she or anyone else pretending she could be POTUS?

Why? I keep asking why does Sarah continue to be held in esteem by the media when accountable would be more like it, they publicize her every word on Twitter and Facebook?! I told Mit today in-fact on FB that he'd better ignore Sarah or it's going to be HELL running against her. See, I ask myself, does he have the guts to expose her during a campaign
