If you remember, the Tea Parties were originally formed to protest the bailouts. They were so mad at the Wall Street bankers who destroyed the economy and then took our hard earned money for their efforts.
So, they will take this opportunity, of course, to launch their own protest of Wall Street. They will protest the TARP money, the easy credit, the lack of regulation, the wild risk taking and the excessive bonuses paid with taxpayer money. They're really going to take the fight to them.
    Just kidding.
They're not going to do anything. They're going to sit out this fight on financial reform. Because they have NO content, No focus relative to real solutions or conservative ethical change!

This is ridiculous – this TEAParty started out protesting the bailout, and now – when it's time to start fighting for reform – they are no where to be found? Silent, even.
Except when it comes to defending the indefensible Sarah WhackJob Palin…

Time for Clark KENt to find a phone booth and fly zippity-fast (speed of light) to the rescue of the Tea Party's reputation on the blog of their arch-enemy. (drumming fingers) He'll be here any minute……(looking out the window at the sky)…..maybe he has been held up by all that volcanic ash in the atmosphere.

are you really this blind to economics in this country or are you hoping i am,this got started back with carter, when everybody was talking about how hard it was to get credit, and when the banks kept saying no,they were not going to give credit to people who had very little chance of repaying the loans they jumped over the heads of the banks and went to congress, and then the congress forced the banks to give loans they knew were not good risks, that obama has decided that goldman sachs is going to be the sacrificial lamb makes no difference to me,that he's already finding ways to bankrupt the banks again is what should scare you, that the freddies led the way in this should bother you,the origins and practices of aig should bother you,the tea party's are not protesting the banks they are protesting the government interference in the natural ups and downs of a capitalist society, and the fact that government interfence prolongs the downs, when the government can, even for a couple of years run a lemonade stand in the black i will say they have the right to dictate what wall street or detriot does, until then they are and will continue to be knee jerk liberals who let their emotions override their logic.

i'm glad to see those drama classes are paying off.that aside, the facts are there for anyone intersted,if you want strong banks you don't give $200,000 loans to people making $40,000 a year, which is what carter, clinton, and now obama think are sound loans, its the practice of loan sharks to give loans to people who can't repay them just so they can bleed them dry for years and years.and this brings me back to that idea of socialist cannibals or in this case vampires.

One of your problems, Ken, is that you have no sense of humor. So sad.
