Don't you first have to have some virtues before you can write about them? How can someone who has no integrity whatsoever right about virtue?

before you are to be able to judge them, don't you first have to understand what virtues are,you seem like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest…no offense intended, but you really don't seem to understand conservative american virtues…………

Well, Ken, I guess I don't. Virtues to me are things like integrity, kindness, charity, etc. Sarah Palin has demonstrated many, many times that she has none of those qualities. Therefore, if she epitomizes conservative American virtues, they must be something with which I am not familiar. May I also add that I probably will have no interest in them either? The virtues with which I am familiar are Christian in origin. I guess that means that the ones you are talking about are unChristian or pseudo-Christian.

integrity is a good thing, but if you watch the news it seems like the democratic/socialist party doesn't have any,as a matter of fact they seem to be sexual perverts for the most part, kindness and charity seem to be code words by the socialists, for give me whats yours.nothing more then thinly veiled strong arm robbery, christianatity tells you to make the most of your life, not to trespass on someone elses live.why is it your rallying cry is always ''sharing'' when what your really saying is that you want your neighbor to share what they have and give nothing in return.it doesn't sound very christian to me.

    Hi Ken,
I'm glad that you admit that integrity is a good thing. Seems like the Republican Conservatives don't have any (integrity). Several Republican conservatives can be on your list of sexual perverts in politics. Mark Sanford. Larry Craig.Mark Foley. Bob Allen. Michael Duvall. John Ensign
My Republican Conservative Representives rallying cry is always ''sharing'' Alaska's an 'owner state' 'municipal sharing' Research that….
Ken, as a conservative, what can or should we do? How can your balanced opinion become the only opinion? That's what you want, right? Is it helping by calling your opposition names? Do you really think that the world's woes are because of America's Democrat Party or just liberalism with socialism mixed in?

Also, Ken, this isn't about Republican virtues or Democrat virtues; it is about Palin and whether or not she has any redeeming virtue. You are in the habit of throwing out red herrings in every argument. Let's keep it simple, Ken, and stick to the topic. My purpose here is not to rant every time I have a chance. What's your purpose?

is this your list of sexual stupidity from the republican party, unless you lead a very sheltered life you know the list of democratic perverts is 3 to 1 if not more, since the year began a new one pops up about once a week, who was it the past week patterson of new york,i'm sure you heard of him,he replaced a perverted gov.and then we found out he was even more of a pervert, whats that saying about glass houses.but your right they both have their problems, and the tea party is just the group to clean it up.get on board, its the only hope for this country.

My purpose on this thread is to stick to the topic and express my opinion. It is just beyond me that you think Palin is the savior of America. She is undereducated; she appears to be a pathological liar; she says the same old talking points with no specifics and no solutions; she is incredibly dishonest. All of this is easily verified from a variety of sources, including her own mouth. Furthermore, she has to be one of the worst parents I have ever seen. She is running all over the US while her children are running amok at home. Willow's recent escapade would be a wake-up call to any other parent. Her treatment of Trig on the bus tour was appalling, especially when she pulled him out of the bus at night with him in a sweatshirt, diaper, and bare legs while everyone else was well-covered. Piper has no childhood; she is a little lady-in-waiting for her mom. How do you overlook all these things, Ken, not to mention her lack of foreign policy knowledge? This is a woman who has indicated that her fall-to policy for international conflict is war. Do we need more wars, or do we need, as a species, to figure out a more productive and less lethal way to solve conflict? She is a mess and very likely suffering from a significant personality disorder. This is who you want leading America?

Here ya go, Ken. Google Sarah's speech in Alberta and you will find that she told a story about her family taking her brother for medical care when he burned his ankle (oooh nooo it was socialized medicine no less). Then go to this website and see her "other" version of the same story. http://www.skagwaynews.com/051107GovPalinvisit.html

Ken, I don't recall that sjohnson has bashed every moral WE hold dear. Correct me if Im wrong. I believe we all try to live by them in some way. I would hope that as far as morals and how they apply to politics and governing is that we all want the same honest and competent people, regardless of party or faith. Most times it's just we see different ways of getting there. For me as a Christian conservative.. The hypocracy of Palin is sickening to me. She's now the face of a Christian Conservative Republican. She's set us back decades in respect, she's an absolute joke.

This is why I like this blog: the passionate give and take of it's followers. No shots are being fired; no one is going to jail or is liable for prosecution for expressing their strongly-held ideas. These exchanges between we folks pounding the keys in our warm, cozy homes, slinging rhetorical mud at one another is what brave generations of freedom-loving men and women have fought and died for.Syrin is right: " …we all want the same honest and competent people, regardless of

First of all, it isn't a news show. It is entertainment. Even Murdoch acknowledged that. Second, Bill O'Reilly is ahead of Beck. Third, he is so full of misinformation that even I see it as entertainment. Fourth, there are many people who watch him because he has become so ridiculous that he is a curiosity. However, the fact that you are trying to defend the moron says a lot about you and your narrow-minded views.
