Did you notice….Palin can’t get along with anyone

From Sean Cockerham in Juneau –

Tension is rising between Gov. Sarah Palin and state legislators over the federal economic stimulus money, with lawmakers saying there is a communications breakdown with the governor over what money the state should take.

Palin and top legislators blamed each other for the cancellation of a meeting they'd scheduled Thursday to hash out the stimulus. Senate President Gary Stevens (R) said the statement Palin sent to the press about what happened was "absolutely false, absolutely false."

"Someone should be brought to task on that," the Kodiak Republican said.

Bad feelings remain from the blowup between Gov. Sarah Palin and legislative leaders, with some lawmakers passing their irritation on to Palin's budget director during this morning's finance committee meeting on the stimulus money.

“Are we wasting our time with this hearing?” the committee co-chair, Anchorage Republican Rep. Mike Hawker, asked budget director Karen Rehfeld.

“The message we seem to be getting from the governor is that she doesn’t want to be talking to us about policy calls,” Hawker continued.

Rehfeld said that it wasn’t a waste.

“She asked for a public process, your committee work is the public process,” Rehfeld said.

Anchorage Democratic Rep. Les Gara told Rehfeld that the governor’s discussion of the issue has been in sound bites, such as referring to stimulus money as a bribe.

"I just don’t find comments like that helpful, we’ve been accepting federal money since statehood, nobody has called it a bribe,” Gara said.

Fairbanks Republican Rep. Mike Kelly, who has been supportive of Palin, said he’s held his tongue and doesn’t know what happened with the cancellation of yesterday’s meeting with Palin.

Palin does not have the intellectual capability to face the legislature in person and discuss the stimulus monies and how they affect Alaska and its citizens.
As usual she tries to hide behind her staff and the press. Even with the help of her staff, Palin failure to comprehend the basics of the stimulus, are evident in the following FACTUAL corrections from Larry Persily who works in the office of Rep. Mike Hawker (R).The subject line of the email was: Factual Corrections to Governor’s Pronouncements. You may read them here;

Huh? Your comment is word salad. You have no facts if you think Palin is the savior of the Godless Old Party. Sarah is the whore that rides the beast. Do your research!

I keep thinking that they'd have left six months ago if she was as kooky and erratic as she seems.
Remember Hitler had loyal followers even after he started his deranged thinking and murdering of millions of people.
    Here's a possibility

    Greed and Power
From their own perspective, the greedy will never have enough wealth. Greed is a self reinforcing addiction, the more you have the more you want. Whether it’s money, power, stuff, adulation, admiration or whatever, greed says you never have enough. Narcissistic Personality Disorder
The power hungry only have enough leverage if they perceive that they are already the strongest, the smartest, even when the reality is the extreme opposite. If they don’t believe that, then they continue to try to leverage their power through intimidation of others, spreading fear among their allies, and purchasing mercenaries both private (friends from high school) and from other areas like the local media, legislators. I don't know what causes people to be sucked in by a lie. Many people each year get sucked into cults knowing the truth but desiring to have their ears tickled (lies). Sarah Palin has 11 personal ethics violation filed against her. Alaska has an Administrative Ethics Act, and Palin has violated it on a continual basis.
Look at the USA: We spend more on DEFENSE than ALL the other countries on this planet added together. Yet, our leaders still leverage their actions because they see us as weak and vulnerable and not quite as knowledagable as they are. And guess what? That view actually does make us vulnerable, makes us look for the lowest common denominator in character and integrity, to reflect who we have become.
useless substandard small poor lacking deficient pathetic ineffective unqualified unskilled unprofessional short penis liar inferior incapable inexpert incompetent defective bungling amateurish weak unacceptable unsatisfactory tiny snoron slut sad imperfect humiliation failure garbage enough cheap amiss
If we cannot hold public servants and those who they have around them to a higher standard and they get away with the obvious violation of ethics and established law, than we deserve the inadequate and unlawful representation that we get.

laura, woman, child, dupe however you might to look at yourself, sryup when pushed will tell you she doesn't like anything about the gop, most of her comments about palin are just reactions,to what is being said about obama sometimes word for word,i don't know if you are in on her little game or if you're just a innocent dupe of her smear campaign agaisn't anything conservative..but if you read her post's and compare them to conservative sites she has almost the same thing to say about palin as they do about obama she's just switching the names around,,including the latest right-wing comparision of obama to hitler, which is a reaction to his work corps project that he wants to get started, all she is doing is changing the names…this is a traitor a spy a phoney she is very much a liberal she just enjoys playing you for a fool ……wake up and smell the marxist worms at work

Palin could start her own reality show – she is treating the State of Alaska like the set for "Governor Gino's Days of Her Lies" production. The introduction of her latest AG character into the script, who may very well steal the show, has added a new twist to her already disfunctional act.

  12. JBodine
    Mar 29, 2009 @ 18:13:00

I have to say Laura (one of my favorite female names) Syrin is loathe to tell you what her definition of Conservative is. I have been trying to get her point, but all she does is name call. Hey Sherry define your vision of Conservative and shut me up.

    Mar 29, 2009 @ 18:18:00

Hey xango, How about we show a little respect for the office, it is Governor Palin, she was ELECTED to the office. Get over it.
Now for the sake of enlightenment, list one lie the Governor has told, just one for me.

  14. xango_xango
    Mar 29, 2009 @ 19:33:00

She lied about the stimulus money, she lied about her per diem, she
lied about her travel, she lied about her house, she lied about her
qualifications for VP, she lied about her son's past, she's lied about
her children being harassed by the media, she's lied about her release
of the deposition and documents, she lied about the reason she let
Colberg go, she lied about not moving into the mansion, she lied about
her recent meeting with the legislature, she lied about Catie Couric,
she lied about John McCain, she lied about her clothing purchases
during the VP run, she lied about being against moving the capitol, she
lied about her husband being from the villages, she lied about her
daughter's name, she got caught lying to the GOP, ..to name a few.
Don't ask me to respect someone that actually thinks she is currently
nothing but the Potus princess of Alaska and above all ethical
standards. The best thing the legislature can do is not engage in
her drama show and pretend she isn't there. Actually, an
intervention isn't even necessary at this point, she is doing a pretty
good job of taking herself down. I think her new AG may be a bit
of a spoiler of the spotlight for her – it's going to be hard for him
to assist her like the last person she had there. Her latest
panhandling presentation at the Lincoln Day Dinner sent a lot of people
over the edge. Like I said though, she's self destructing,
nothing you or I do or say is going to stop this train wreck.
Take care now, thanks for responding.

I thank you for the courtsey of a reply, except for this: "Don't ask me to respect someone that actually thinks she is currently nothing but the Potus princess of Alaska and above all ethical standards". I did not ask you to respect anyone but the office, The Office has a Title. I have never heard of her referring to herself as the Potus princess of Alaska. It took you some time to write your response, I really appreciate the effort. I would really like to have a rational discussion with you. I will be right up front with you, I like your Governor. However, I have not finalized my position on her. (Remember one thing she is not currently running for any office). If she runs for re-election then it does not matter what I think of her, if she runs for POTUS or again as VPOTUS then I come into play and I want to be prepared for that eventuallity. O.K now you rattled off quite a list, I am going to save your response to address each item, for this response I will only deal with the first one, and if you will permit deal with each in turn. Therefore I will become a more informed voter, agreed.
(1). She lied about the stimulus money. What was the lie?

    Mar 29, 2009 @ 22:19:00

The office? Excuse me. You are FULL of yourself……I am going to save your response to address each item….. You have no right to address any of it! Who do you think you are? What in the heck do you think you know? The office of the governor of the State of Alaska is currently occupied by a worthless peice of work, a real sick puppy, a fraud. Until the day that she is confined to home with a ankle bracelet on, or is recalled or resigns, the office is meaningless and as Xango said, she should be ignored.

  18. JBodine
    Mar 29, 2009 @ 22:35:00

Well I am so sorry you felt the need to interject yourself, maybe you could address the question: She lied about the stimulus money. What was the lie? This can't be too hard. If she should be ignored, why are you so worked up about her. According to you she is a power mad POTUS seeker. If that is true, I certainly need to be informed. Just pretend you are a witness in the prosecution of the Governor for "Malfeasance in Office", now state some facts. It's easy, she did X, she didn't do Y. you know facts, opinion are not admissable.

  19. Syrin from Wasilla
    Mar 29, 2009 @ 22:55:00

Sarah will be ignored as a viable governor, she has brought the shadow upon the office. She deserves what she gets, disrespect- her legacy is incompetence and abuse of office. But, she will continuously be ridiculed and brought to task for her abuses, her lies and unlawful behavior. Do your own homework. We are not interseted in going through the last 2 years of Sarah's cesspool with you or anyone else. If you had a real concern for Sarah Palin, you would have noticed her family needs her- Alaska & America DO NOT

Well, Sherry I am going to go check out your source Mr. 8% Halcro, the man Sarah smoked for Governor, I'm sure he is a crediable source. I will return.

  21. JBodine
    Mar 30, 2009 @ 07:53:00

Well his post, Alaska on AutoPilot is opinion, factually inaccurate. See Governor's Release No. 09-58, March 19, 2009. "Our desire is to foster a DISCUSSION about what is true stimulus and what is just more federal interference in Alaskan's lives through the growth of government."
Governor's Release No. 09-66 March 26, 2009. "I can't predict how much or what funds legislatots might add to my request, and we haven't heard all the public testimony yet."
Mr. 8% Halcro basesis for his entire post is the "REJECT". In every instance change to "not requested" Doesn't sound like the Governor rejected to me, of course I am not trying to deceive. DISCUSSION is not a synonym for REJECT.
This appears to be a man with an agenda, he wants to be Governor, and he doesn't care who he has to go through to get there. This man is not to be trusted, he has an unbridled lust for relevance and power.

What, 60% approval, yea just being ignored.

  23. xango_xango
    Mar 31, 2009 @ 09:33:00

The poll number's peanut gallery was saying she would definitely win if
she ran again BUT they added, based upon her decisions lately, it
didn't look like she was going to run. The clincher was when they
further speculated that she wouldn't run in case she didn't win because
that would really dump any chance for POTUS. And, JBodine,
the Governor's and her administration's public stimulus shuffle speaks
    for itself.

  24. JBodine
    Mar 31, 2009 @ 10:12:00

Come on, help me out here. What do you mean "public stimulus shuffle"? What was her position, has she changed it, if so to what? Read my post above, I have been following this stimulus debate from the beginning of the creation of this monstrocity. Several Governor's (Sanford,Jindal,Perry) came out early and said the would reject monies. Governor Palin has been consistant from the beginning she has never said she would reject anything. So, again what is this "shuffle" thing, what has changed?
Thanks in advance for your enlightment.
