Our daughter received the DOD Superior Civilian Service Medal for her end of tour award. This is the 3rd highest award for DOD civilians and a pretty big deal, equivalent to a non-combat bronze star for military. She and her husband are heading home to the states in a few short weeks! I’m a very proud and blessed mom.

This decoration is most often presented to senior officers in the flag and general officer grades.
It´s not the only one.
