Found Guilty of Abuse Of Power–Sarah Palin Calls The Secret Service Scandal A “symptom of government run amok”

The White House suggested Friday that Sarah Palin is engaged in a “preposterous” attempt to turn the Secret Service prostitute scandal into a political issue.

ByBrian Montopoli

“It is preposterous to politicize the Secret Service,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Friday.

On Thursday, Palin said on Fox News that the scandal is a “symptom of government run amok” and tied it to what she called the president’s “poor management skills.”

“And it’s, like, you know, who’s minding the store around here?” she added.

Palin is among the Republicans who have suggested the Secret Service scandal, along with the recent GSA spending controversy and the revelation of new photographs of American soldiers posing with dead Afghans, reflects poorly on the president. Carney said those critics are “trying to turn these incidents, one that’s still under investigation, into, you know, to political advantage.”

“I think on the face of it, it’s a ridiculous assertion that trivializes both the very serious nature of the endeavor that our military is engaged in in Afghanistan and the very serious nature both of the work that the Secret Service does, the apolitical nature of the institution, the — and the seriousness of the investigation under way with regard to the Secret Service and the military and the incident in Colombia,” he continued.

Palin was asked to comment on the scandal after one of the agents involved was reported to have posted a photograph online of himself guarding Palin when she was the Republican vice presidential nominee along with the comment, “I was really checking her out, if you know what i mean?”

The word “preposterous” seems to have been made specifically for everything that Palin says or does!

Jeremy Morlock is a fine example of the company that the Palin’s keep. If those soldiers shooting the Afghan citizens reflects poorly on our President, then so does her family friends’ actions posing with dead Afghans for photos. How dare her criticize any military person for any behavior after coming to the defense of that war criminal. Palin does not understand military life, only having her son that was never in a war zone, other than to drive military brass to and from meetings.

Does someone just wake her up in the morning and hand her a bunch of notes and send her out to talk to some talking heads? There is no sane person in this world that can do what our little homegrown performing monkey does. I’m not a religious person but can the Anti-Christ be female? If so, I think we’ve found her. She is evil and destructive, right down to the bottom of her dark and hateful soul.

You need to stop criticizing people you dont know. You just insulted all of that young man’s friends and family just because you dislike a politician. Grow up and get some class.

Katie, why were you banned from Palin’s facebook? Shouldn’t you be groveling and begging to be reinstated to her facebook instead of trying to change hearts and minds here because you’re doing one hell of a lousy job.

        Katie,
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Critizing someone for the sake of degrading them or their character is one thing. And, I agree that is bad practice. However, as far as a politician goes, this woman is just a user! She’s never had the ability that others seem to give her so freely! Sarah quit only after violating the Alaska executive ethics act, abusing power, given to her by the stupid voters of Alaska! Sarah is a fraud, not even knowing basic civics is kept in the political spotlight! Some like what she’s selling, I understand. But, she just parrots, reads from her hand and speaks what other people think you want to hear. (2Tim 4:3). She is not able to articulate what it is she really believes because she has no core values, or heart felt beliefs.. also, too! Sarah generally only will offer her services to the highest bidder– You Betcha!

Since her Secret Service “admirer” incident to place under GW then it’s a safe bet some of these things went on under his watch as well. It’s just gettin attention now because an agent squabbled over a few bucks.

Look Sarah. This is the President of the United States; leader of the free world. It’s not the mayor of Wasilla, where you needed a city manager to do the real work. It’s not Governor of Alaska, where you had to give up half way through your term. Your musings show what little understanding you have of the job you pretend to be qualified for.

I can’t believe that Palin is stupid enough to draw attention to the SS agent that was checking her out in ’08. Shailey Tripp met the very same agent through Todd Palin! Sarah, no comment on your husband’s well-known association with his prostitution ring and the hookers he recruited for it? He actually introduced this agent to Shailey, telling her to take good care of him. Now we know why there has been zero mention of the prostitution ring by the media. There is pressure from some people in high places keeping things quiet. We know it’s not coming from the President since Todd’s business started long before Barack Obama ran for President.

So quiet about all this attention on Todd and yet you stupidly use the title of Shailey’s book, “Boys Will Be Boys” as if you’re throwing it in her face that she can’t touch you. Maybe Shailey can’t but there are others who can and will. You’ve outlived your usefulness, what very little you had, and you & Todd will be getting just what you deserve.
